Had a great stay…accommodations were super clean and well kept. The property is beautiful with views of the Lake, and is as well kept as the rooms. We stayed in one of their beautiful cottages with no lack of amenities. We came for a snowmobile getaway, the local trail system did not disappoint. 5 stars definitely coming back!

Yeah cards, booze and x-country skiing – mostly in Algonquin park. And not all at the same time.

There were trails immediately to the north across the highway. Algonquin outfitters is/was close by too. Assorted hiking trails in the neighbourhood. Ragged falls is beautiful and worth a visit any time of year. Spent some weeks on the lake at various cottages too…

I had a fantastic stay at Blue Spruce last November, waking up to a stunning first snowfall that added to the property’s beauty. The lake view from Windwood was 10/10. The onsite trails were a winter wonderland, and I enjoyed much needed restful sleep! The accommodations are incredibly clean and comfortable, there are a variety of options to suit solo, couple or family travelers. The gas fireplace in the cottage was where I spent most evenings reading at night. The owners and staff were exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this resort to family and friends wanting to stay near Algonquin Park and would definitely visit again.

I am a returning visitor of blue spruce and I can’t express how amazing my stays are each time. The first time I visited my auger got lost on the ice while fishing and I realized when I got home, I called them and Scott saved my auger and held it for me! Every time I visited Sheryl is the most welcoming and friendly person to be greeted by and is always happy to see me when I visit. My last stay we went ice fishing and they helped me get on the ice safely and as early as possible! I even got calls to update about the ice conditions! They have amazing amenities with clean rooms, showers, kitchens and everything else, and I will always be looking forwards to my next stay at blue spruce, and if you’re looking for big fish, this is the place to stay!

Got hooked on Blue Spruce a few years ago and just took my Mom for our 5th trip. Awesome quick getaway from Toronto and Cheryl and team are amazing! Beyond all the great close-by activity options, I’ve stayed at cottage resorts everywhere and can say this place is run extremely well down to the small details. Highly endorse and will be back again soon!

We had a wonderful Christmas holiday here at Blue Spruce Resort. The room is nice and warm everything is so clean. They have a full kitchen with everything you need. Lots of things to do on site – ice skating, hockey, snow mobile, toboggan. snow shoe, X country ski etc… Overall the resort is very well maintained. The ice rink and ski trails are very well groomed. My kid woke up upset knowing it’s time to check out. We will be back for sure.

Room is nice and clean, staff are very friendly and helpful here, bed is very cozy. Had a fun time with ice skating, snow tubing, and snow shoeing. Looking forward to come back again in summer time.

What a wonderful surprise to find such a warm and inviting place just outside of Algonquin Park. We stayed in a three bedroom self contained cottage overlooking Oxtongue lake with all the modern conveniences – including a wood burning fireplace to set the mood for relaxation. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the facilities were updated and well equipped. The many kilometres of private walking, cross country skiing and horseshoe trails was the icing on the cake. We will certainly be back and would highly recommend the resort for couples and families alike.

We had a great time at Blue Spruce Resort. We attended a wellness retreat in November. Our cabin was terrific, with great views, cozy, nice kitchen, baths and three comfortable bedrooms. Loved it. Wish we were there now to cross country ski those amazing trails.

I recently stated at Blue Spruce Resort as part of a fantastic wellness retreat. I can’t say enough good things about the facilities and the care and love the owners have put into this place. The trails are so abundant and beautiful and lots of activities on site. The setting is so natural and the rooms/cottages are updated and comfortable. I can’t wait to be back and want to try it in every single season. Winter is a great time as there is high likelihood of fresh snow and with it lots of activities like Xcountry skiing or snow-shoe ing.

I stayed at the resort from dec 3 to the 6th of this year and I must say that it wont be my last. The staff are friendly the rooms are clean each unit has a full kitchen and all utensils are provided. I go to Algonquin Park about 5 times a year to do photography and have always stayed in Whitney but no more from now on it will be the Blue Spruce Resort. A great place to relax after a day on the trails with a kitchen and table to do some editing a great place to stay

Our family has been coming here for years, and it never disappoints! The staff is friendly and attentive, the cabins are clean and well-equipped, and the location is perfect.

An amazing place!! The owners and staff are second to none!! The rooms were immaculate. The grounds were well cared for. The beaches (2 of them) were cleaned and raked daily. The Grounds Manager took time out of his busy day to take us for a pontoon boat ride to show us some of the highlights.

There is a games room for the kids plus tennis courts, pickleball courts and outside shuffleboard. They have kayaks, canoes and boats available.

Such a wonderful place to slow down and unwind!! We will definitely be back!
